was created in 2000, after the passing of Chuck Semancik, a legendary coach and teacher at Bremerton/West High. Our Source of donations has been from a grass-roots base nourished by the community, alumni, staff and friends of the Bremerton Schools all sharing to create opportunities for our youth.

To HELP KIDS who are overcoming life-altering circumstances. These youngsters must be achieving academically and seeking to further their education after graduation in pursuit of a career goal.

The Semancik Foundation is a 501c3 tax-deductible non-profit corporation. Donated monies go toward Bremerton High School scholarships and approved community projects. No member of the Board or volunteer of the foundation is salaried. Our legal services, CPA, & financial planning are all pro-bono.

Bremerton High School is proud of the alumni and of the people in the community who have made a significant contribution to the school and community. Nominations are now being accepted through Monday, April 8, 2013. The recipients of these awards will be honored at a banquet to be announced soon.
